Takvor Mutafoglu is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the Department of Social Sciences. He teaches both online and face-to-face courses in macroeconomics and microeconomics. He also advises the Economics Club at Bergen Community College. His recent academic research interests included microstructure approach to exchange rate determination as well as efficiency and volatility in exchange rate and precious metal markets. Prior to joining BCC in 2011, Takvor Mutafoglu taught at Hunter College & Montclair State University. He received his Ph.D. & M. Phil. degrees in Economics from the Graduate Center, the City University of New York & his MA in Economics from Queens College. He holds a BA in Economics degree from Montclair State University.
