Excellence in Visitor Experience Certification
With the Meadowlands as NJ’s Event Capital hosting major events such as the Super Bowl, teh focus of this programis to provide training of all aspects of enhancing the visitor experience. This one day comprehensive certificate program will benefit frontline employees in the hospitality and leisure, entertainment, restaurants, transportation providers and residents. Participants will learn about the importance of hospitality and tourism. In addition, by becoming knowledgeable about the many destination related assets from transportation to cultural and historic points of interest in New Jersey and the surrounding area, you will possess all the knowledge needed to deliver a warm welcome.
Student Learning Objectives
The program’s initial focal point will be the New Jersey Meadowlands region, but will provide an overview of many historic, entertainment, and shopping venues in the New Jersey area. An interactive approach will be used to engage the participants in discussions in order to draw upon and expand upon their experience and knowledge.
