The 1-2-3 Connect Program offers information sessions to eligible, first-year Bergen Community College students. In these sessions, the benefits, commitments, and components of the Program are explained.
Information sessions are offered directly after testing occurs. Also, please do not hesitate to stop by our offices, Room A-126 or Room B-220, Pitkin Education Center (Paramus Main Campus).
Testing occurs in the main building, Pitkin Education Building in room S-127. For more information about testing, please visit http://www.bergen.edu/new-students/testing.
After completing the Accuplacer Test, the Testing Liaison introduces the student to a Peer Mentor who will facilitate the Information Session. In these Information Sessions, students will learn about the 1-2-3 Connect:First Year Experience Program’s support systems and resources, the course requirement, and much more valuable information. The Peer Mentor is a continuing Bergen Community College student, so this is an additional comfort to the incoming first-year students to ask questions candidly.
