College Nurse

The College Nurse provides medical care and emergency care/first aid to students, staff and visitors for full spectrum of medical conditions.   RN renders treatment for injuries sustained during incidents/accidents on campus, interacts with appropriate campus personnel and ambulance staff to assure timely, competent care as well as facilitates access to referrals for follow-up care in cases of emergency medical conditions, physical trauma and mental health crises.  Hours are Monday – Thursday 12PM – 8 PM and Fridays 10AM – 6PM.

 

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and current NJ State RN licensure and BLS certification required. Experience working in a school/college nursing setting, community based healthcare and/or mental health background preferred. Must be detailed oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
