Director of Student Recruitment

The Director of Student Recruitment is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the student recruiting office, including the direct supervision of the recruiting staff and student tour guides. The Director is a hands-on management professional responsible for coordinating recruiting functions, including high school visits, campus tours, open houses, diversity outreach and informational sessions; implementing data collection and customer relationship management system for tracking prospects and follow-up; developing recruiting strategies and marketing materials; implementing recruiting policies and procedures; and working collaboratively with other departments including Financial Aid and Admissions  to ensure the consistent delivery of services to prospective students.

 

Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred) and five years supervisory experience in recruiting within the higher education environment. Recruiting experience at a community college a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of recruitment strategies and practices as well as excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills required. Online marketing experience a plus.
