Susan Callahan Barnard
B.S., Thomas Jefferson University College of Health Professions; M.S., Columbia University School of Dental Medicine; D.H.S., Nova Southeastern University
Dr. Barnard joined the dental hygiene program as an adjunct instructor in 1989, became a lecturer in 1993 and then a full-time faculty member in 1994. She has also served as a program coordinator.
She is a member of the Health Advisory Council for the Bergen County Community Action Program and such professional organizations as the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Additionally, at the College, she was involved with the Pitkin and Perkins projects, which involved increasing the presence of health professions careers on campus.
