Junior and Senior High School Students

The College Experience Program is intended as a mechanism for high school juniors and seniors with an overall grade point average of 3.0 to pursue advanced education at an early stage in their academic life.

Students completing their sophomore year can enroll in a summer session.

Eligible students will be permitted to take up to six (6) credits during the Fall or Spring semesters and up to eight (8) credits during the Summer sessions.

Notes: Some restrictions may apply and the student must get permission for each semester as a College Experience student.

Students must take the ACCUPLACER (basic skills test) and place into both English and math college level courses.

Students who have achieved certain scores on the SAT , ACT, or AP examination will be waived from taking the ACCUPLACER. For details about the Basic Skills Placement Test waiver requirements visit  or refer to the College Experience Application.

The College Experience Program is under the domain of Registration/Enrollment Services. You may register in person at the One Stop Center (Room A-129). Please ask for Lucy Mistretta.
