NJBIA-Funded Training

Bergen Community College can assist companies in applying for sponsored and grant-funded programs for employee training opportunities. Grant funds are available for New Jersey employers to upgrade the skills of their current employees and/or train new employees.

Customized Training

Our subject matter experts can work with employers to create a detailed assessment of the learning and development needs of your staff and then deliver on target instruction. Customized training can be designed for economic recovery, crisis management, organization redevelopment, managing  your workforce, forecasting, and gap analysis.

Leadership Training

Strong leaders inspire success.  It is important for all businesses to have effective leaders that can set goals, inspire others, and lead strong teams.  We offer leadership courses including project management, communication skills and many other training options to help leaders reach their full potential.

Apprenticeships

Are you looking for new talent or to upskill your current workforce? If so, an apprenticeship may be the right fit for your organization. Registered Apprenticeship (RA) is a structured education and training program that takes place in the workplace and includes formal on-the-job (OJT) training and classroom-based, related technical instruction (RTI). An apprentice is a full-time, paid employee of the sponsoring organization from the start of the program. An apprenticeship generally includes at least 2,000 hours of OJT and a recommended 144 hours of related technical instruction (RTI).
