This program will equip students with comprehensive knowledge and skills for planning and managing events as a career in the hospitality industry. Learn how to plan events, merchandise, select and contract vendors, handle food and beverage safe, manage personnel, and operate marketing. This program will prepare students to successfully organize events from conception to execution.

Fashion Design Certificate Program

Fashion Design program offers students the necessary credentials, industry knowledge, and hands-on experience to earn their professional certification in fashion design. For students who want to learn fashion detail for personal interests, prepare for a career in the fashion industry, or build their portfolios for higher education opportunities, our fashion design courses have something to offer for everyone! Begin with Sewing Certificate or Fashion Art Certificate and complete with Fashion Design Certificate program to learn how to sew, design clothes, and develop an eye for fashion detail.

Interior Design with Technology Certificate Program

This certificate has 8 core courses, Principles of Interior Design, Drafting, Interior Lighting, Visual Concepts, Business Procedures, History of Decorative Arts, Color, & Interior Materials Finishes & Sources. Each Instructor is an expert in his/her field. Classes are offered day and evening. All held in Paramus campus. Lots of projects and field trips. Some materials will be needed, some texts are suggested, but not required.

Certificate in Professional Cooking

The Certificate in Professional Cooking is designed to prepare entry-level or working foodservice professionals to enhance hands-on skills or refresh their culinary expertise. Students will be ready to make high quality foods for various foodservice settings in restaurants, hotels, country clubs, retail markets, contract dining, tourism and other types of establishments. This program prepares students for nationally recognized ServSafe certification in Serving Safe Food. Students in this certification program will be able to meet and exceed industry standards and expectations in this growing field.

The program is open to all students 18 years and older, regardless of ability and/or experience in the culinary area. These courses allow students the opportunity to participate in college division courses with matriculated students and can be applied to a two-year liberal arts degree if desired upon enrollment in the matriculated program.

Time to Complete:  6-12 months (180 classroom hours)
Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent
College Credits: 12 (if applied to a two-year liberal arts degree upon enrollment in the matriculated program)
