Obtaining a real estate license requires taking 75-hour courses and passing an exam. The entire process can be completed in a few months. This course is designed for those who are interested in studying modern real estate transactions, real estate law, real estate commission rules and regulations, and preparing for the New Jersey Real Estate Licensing Examination.

Residential Property Management Certificate

A property manager’s goal is to make the property run as efficiently and profitably as possible on behalf of its owner. Our Residential Property Management Certificate Program is designed for individuals interested in the management of the townhouse and condominium complexes, Adult 55+/Senior residences, and other residential planned communities. Students learn fundamental financial management skills, gaining an understanding of insurance, safety, security and risk management issues. Additionally, the ins-and-outs of managing special facilities such as community swimming pools and clubhouses are covered. 

Time to Complete: 3-5 months (60 classroom hours)

Mortgage Loan Officer Training

The Mortgage Loan Officer Training Program is a comprehensive 120-hour training program designed to give you the skills and licenses needed to enter the mortgage banking workforce. Training topics include: mortgage basics and terminology, NMLS required federal and state training (NJ), customer qualifications and credit analysis, lending guidelines and procedures, the mortgage process (prequalification to post-closing), upon completion of the course and satisfactory test results, students will be eligible to receive NJ Mortgage Loan Originators License.

Time to Complete: 4-11 weeks (120 classroom hours)
Prerequisites: High School Diploma or equivalent.  Completed Background and credit check

Reverse Mortgage Loan Officer Training

Under Three Months

This 160 hour training program provides students the necessary skills to enter the reverse mortgage loan officer workforce. The course content includes mandatory training hours required to obtain your mortgage license, principles of loan origination, mortgage terminology, credit analysis, sales best practices, and practice quizzes for the state and federal licensing examination that will be administered. Job placement assistance is available. Tuition includes the cost of training, testing, licensing, fingerprinting, credit and background checks.

Time to Complete: 4-11 weeks (160 classroom hours)
Prerequisites: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completed background and credit check.
