Am I eligible?
Students become eligible three ways:

  • New students who attend July 13 open house, get vaccinated and apply to the College.
  • New students who attend July 13 open house, apply to the College and show their official CDC vaccination record at the event.
  • New or continuing students who register for fall classes and upload proof of vaccination via their student portal.

How many awards are available?
Five $1,000 tuition credits – three for continuing students and two for new students.

How do I enter?
Just complete any of these three steps and you’re in!

How will I know if I’ve won?
The $1,000 winner at the open house will be announced that day (July 13). The other winners will be announced via live YouTube stream Aug. 27 at noon.

What is the deadline to register and submit my proof of vaccination?
Aug. 26 at noon.

Other Terms and Conditions

  • Scholarship dollars would be returned to the foundation in the event a lottery winning student leaves the College during the fall 2021 semester.
  • The scholarships represent “last dollar” awards payable to students after all other aid, scholarships and grants have been applied to his or her account.
  • If a recipient has no financial balance, or only a portion of the award is needed for tuition and fees, the recipient will receive the balance via a gift certificate to the Bergen Community College Bookstore with a one-year expiration date.
