DESCRIPTION:Bergen will mark the 21st anniversary of 9/11 on Monday\, September 12th at 10:00 a.m. in the Student Center. During the opening ceremony\, we will remember those lost\, honor first responders\, and introduce this year’s service project in partnership with “Brighten A Day.” Any first responders in the Bergen community are invited to attend\, in or out of uniform\, to be honored during the ceremony. The service project and 9/11 Museum film will then continue throughout the day in the Student Center.

DESCRIPTION:Join us and learn how the cure for blood cancer is in the hands of ordinary people like us at Bergen Community College. Be the Match is the most diverse blood stem cell donor registry. Be the Match\, is a community of 39 million members\, including but not limited to\, donors\, volunteers\, health care professionals\, researchers\, and international partners\, who deliver cured by helping patients get the life-saving marrow transplant they need. Be the Match increases the diversity of the registry\, so all patients\, irrespective of ethnicity\, have an equal chance at finding a donor.\nThis event is being presented by Carmen Cruz-Torres\, Assistant Dean\, Nursing Department at Bergen Community College.
