DESCRIPTION:Gallery Bergen is pleased to announce the opening of a new exhibition of prints and drawings by Walt Nygard at Bergen Community College’s Philip J. Ciarco Learning Center\, located at 355 Main Street in Hackensack\, NJ. A member of Veterans For Peace and the literary collective Warrior Writers\, Nygard is well known for his work with Frontline Paper- formerly known as Combat Paper NJ – a veterans’ art project that makes paper out of military uniforms. The public is invited to a reception in honor of the artist at the Ciarco Learning Center on Wednesday\, November 16\, at 5:00 p.m. The Bergen Community College Culinary Arts Program will serve refreshments.
