DESCRIPTION:Prepare for an epic afternoon with comic book writer Edgardo Miranda-Rodriguez as part of the College’s Latino Heritage Month celebration! Known for his work with Marvel Comics\, dive into the origin story of La Borinqueña\, the superhero fighting for justice in Puerto Rican communities on Thursday\, November 9 at 12:30 p.m. in the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre. The event will begin at 12:15 p.m. in the Ciccone Theatre lobby with dancing\, flag waving and Puerto Rican cuisine. Due to demand\, attendees must reserve their free tickets now via this link. The presentation will be followed by a comic book signing and the opportunity to take photos and get autographs.
