DESCRIPTION:Journalist and author Eric Garcia is coming to Bergen Community College to discuss his book\, “We’re Not Broken: Changing the Autism Conversation.” Garcia’s work was selected as Bergen’s Common Read book for 2025-2026 and aims to facilitate conversations around autism\, neurodiversity\, invisible disabilities\, and its portrayal in society. \nJoin Garcia in discussing the book’s themes of stigmas against neurodiversity\, their prevalence in society\, and how they impact neurodiverse individuals. The event is open to all Bergen students\, faculty\, and staff\, as well as community members. \nBergen’s community event begins at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday\, March 24 in the Moses Family and Meeting Center (TEC-128).
