What is Moodle?
Moodle is an open-source learning management system (Open LMS), used to prepare and deliver online and blended learning environments. Open LMS enhances open source technology to create, personalize and track instruction for students with simple online tools.

Why use Moodle?
Moodle provides teachers a variety of resource and activity types to deliver course content, discuss topics using discussion forums and test students online. Learners submit course assignments, participate in discussion forums, track course progress using gradebook and are rewarded for their achievements in the course.

How do I get started?
If you are teaching an online or hybrid course your course will be created automatically on our Moodle server. You can also request a course shell for your in-person assigned course.

If you are using publisher provided course packs or e-tools, it is recommended to link to these from your Moodle course. Students have a central location to begin all their courses.
