Bergen Community College’s 7th Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) conference, the STEM C2 Research Summit, will take place on Friday, April 14th, 2023 on our Paramus campus.

The focus on bringing together the academic accomplishments of community colleges and 4-year colleges, especially those involving collaborative projects between 2- and 4-year schools, has not previously existed.

The STEM C2 Research Summit showcases the talents of faculty, students, and staff who have undertaken STEM-related research or special projects. The “C2” in the conference’s title stands for “Community College.” The high caliber of faculty and students of community colleges engaged in STEM research is a hidden resource.

Community colleges today are equipped with educational facilities, equipment, and instrumentation that are used for cutting edge research. The STEM C2 Research Summit serves as a forum to showcase and share such accomplishments of 2- and 4-year colleges as well as select high school representatives.

This conference brings together the talents and academic achievements of faculty, staff, and undergraduates from the forty-four 2- and 4-year colleges across the tri-state area. A panel of judges comprised of faculty and staff from multiple colleges as well as STEM industry professionals presents awards to the highest caliber projects.

If you have any questions or special requests, please contact the Conference Coordinator, Luis De Abreu, at STEM@bergen.edu or (201) 301-1709.
