Paramus, NJ –  Bergen Bulldogs continue to show signs of potential playoff contender after starting the season 12-8.  Their last win against region opponent Montgomery Mustangs was impressive! Bergen defeated the Mustangs by a score of 14-2.

Bergen baseball’s clear strength is in their bats. The team is currently on top of several offensive categories nationally. They are currently top 20 in OBP, BB,  and SLG. They are currently ranked 22 in Home Runs.

Bergen is set to start a big three game series against region rival Brookdale Jersey Blues.  First game will be at Brookdale on Friday, April 7 3:30 p.m. and a doubleheader at Bergen on Saturday, April 8, starting at noon.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
