Bergen’s Esports team is back after their successful Fall season. Currently the Esports team is competing in four games on the Generation Esports platform.   The games are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, CoD: Vanguard, Valorant and Hearthstone.

The Bulldogs have five student-athletes competing in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch.  The roster consists of Gregory Fishbeyn (ranked #60), Kevin Garcia (Ranked #212), Jackson Klein, Nicholas Rodriguez (Ranked #86) and Thomas Weglarz (Ranked #90) who are all competing individually.

Blake Franzoi is competing in Hearthstone on PC. Blake is the first student-athlete to compete in Hearthstone for Bergen. Blake is currently 1-0 and ranked 13.

Steven Chartoff, Jordan Miner, Jason Chenu and Jackson Klein are representing the Bergen Bulldogs in the Call of Duty: Vanguard, which is played on PS5, XBOX and or PC. Call of Duty is currently 1-0 and ranked 8th.

Steven Chartoff, Blake Franzoi, Shiro Han, Kevin Rodriguez, Isabella Romano and Joshua Ware compete in Valorant, which is played on a PC. Valorant is currently 1-0 on the season.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
