Bergen Community College alumna Aneeta Aby studied health science to work in the health administration field.
“My main reasons for choosing Bergen Community College were its affordability and the academic programs they provide,” said Aby.
Aby, of Bergenfield, is one of 10 student interns who participated in the inaugural data analyst program under the College’s Bergen for Business workforce development initiative. Through the program, she obtained hands-on experience and knowledge in data analytics.
“The program helped me learn more about handling and analyzing data, which is an important component in the healthcare administration field as we would have to handle many different types of data,” said Aby. “The program also helped in not only strengthening my data analysis skills, but also with my attention to detail, critical thinking and problem solving.”

She was a member of the Judith K. Winn School of Honors, Bergen’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society, and the Student Government Association’s Student Activity Board.
Aby attributed her success to her dedication, curiosity and perseverance. “It is easy to think about giving up once things get harder but perseverance is important to me,” said Aby.
Aby graduated in 2025.
