Giovanna Young, Early Childhood Education Major, May 2021
In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 2-8, 2021), Bergen Community College recognizes aspiring education student, Giovanna Young, who was nominated by Professor Melissa Krieger. Young, an early childhood education major who will graduate this May, credits Bergen’s education program and its professors with her great personal experience. Young said, “Bergen Community College’s education program prepared me with the necessary knowledge and skills to embody the qualifications of an educator. The professors are very supportive and invested in your success by always encouraging you to do your best. I’ve gained information that I could use and apply to my future career.”
