Valedictorian of the Class of 2020 and Valedictorian of the Nursing Program
Bergen Community College recognized Bergen alumnus, Maciej Szajwaj, ’20, on National Nurses Day (May 6, 2021). Szajwaj, a Registered Cardiac Nurse at Atlantic Health System, was Valedictorian of the Class of 2020 and Valedictorian of the Nursing Program at Bergen. Szajwaj said, “Bergen Community College has helped fuel my fire towards serving others and being part of a team of nursing heroes, who are the heart of healthcare. The clinical and classroom experience at Bergen has given me the fundamental pieces of education I needed to become the successful cardiac nurse I am today.”
