Takvor Mutafoglu is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Social Sciences. He has been teaching online, hybrid, and face-to-face courses in economics at Bergen Community College for over ten years. He is also the adviser of the BCC Economics Club on campus. His academic research interests included microstructure approach to exchange rate determination as well as efficiency and volatility in exchange rate and precious metal markets. Recently, his focus of attention has been on the economics of globalization (and deglobalization) as well as on the economics of environmental degradation.
