PARAMUS, N.J. – Financial aid options to improve college affordability for prospective students stand as the focal point of five upcoming workshops at Bergen Community College.

The “2016 NJ FAFSA Days” sponsored by the National College Access Network, the Higher Education Student Assistance Authority and the New Jersey Association of Financial Aid Administrators will provide aspiring students and their parents with professional assistance on completing the FAFSA, which determines eligibility for financial aid programs.

The workshops will take place in the Moses Family Meeting & Training Center (room TEC 128) at the College’s main campus at 400 Paramus Road:

*Saturday, Feb. 20, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

*Wednesday, March 9, 6 to 8 p.m.

*Saturday, March 26, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

*Wednesday, April 6, 6 to 8 p.m.

*Saturday, April 23, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bergen students receive more than $40 million in financial aid to finance their education each year.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls 16,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
