PARAMUS, N.J. – As the current interim executive county superintendent of schools of Bergen and Passaic counties, Robert H. Davis has joined the Bergen Community College Board of Trustees. Davis took the oath office at the governing panel’s Sept. 9 meeting.

Davis, of Leonia, brings more than 45 years of education and business sector experience to the board. Prior posts include serving as a business official in the Caldwell-West Caldwell, Midland Park and Montclair public school districts and as the state’s assistant commissioner of education for administration and finance. Davis has led E.E.F., Inc, a private consulting firm specializing in school finance and business administration, as president for the past 19 years. He holds a master’s degree in education administration with a specialization in school business and finance from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree from St. Peter’s University.

Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu) based in Paramus is a public two-year coeducational college, enrolling nearly 16,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip J. Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields.
