PARAMUS, N.J. – The Bergen Institute for the Creative Arts at Bergen Community College and the music program will present “The Roots of Pop and Rock, Volume 1” on Wednesday, May 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre (400 Paramus Road).
From Berry to Presley, Joplin and the Stones, attendees will spend the evening taking a trip through early rock-and-roll led by the College’s student pop-rock ensemble and chorus. Tickets are $15 with discounts for staff and students and can be purchased at tickets.bergen.edu or by calling (201) 447-7428. All proceeds benefit the Paul Marshall Scholarship Fund, which assists students pursue music education.
