Work Study and On-Campus Employment

  • Provides students with the opportunity to meet local employers at our Paramus campus
  • Most Wednesdays throughout the semester, usually between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in the Student Center of the Pitkin Education Building

Career Fairs

Each Spring and Fall semester, over 50 companies visit Bergen’s campus to take part in the Career Center’s Career Fair.

The Fall 2024 Career Fair will take place on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 inside the Student Center of the Pitkin Education Building at the College’s main campus in Paramus from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.  Registration has begun! Employer information is posted on Handshake!

Cooperative Education

  • Cooperative Education is a unique educational program which formally integrates academic learning with “real world” work experience. Students have the opportunity to apply classroom learning to professional employment directly related to their major and career goals. On campus, students attend a weekly seminar. Academic credit is awarded for all co-op experiences.
  • To schedule a co-op appointment, use this link. Click “Get on line from anywhere OR make an appointment”, then click “Book an Appointment”, then click “Paramus Student Services”, then click “Advising Appointments”. Select the available CO-OP advisor and the time available that works best for you. Lastly, fill out your student information and confirm your selection. You will be sent an email about your appointment and a reminder email before your appointment.
