The Dr. Richard Ciccone Italy-Based Work-Study Program

Every year, students in the Hotel and Restaurant Management program and other programs are encouraged to apply for a once-in-a-lifetime experience: Summer internship in Italy. Selected students will have the privilege of interning in the beautiful region of Piedmont for an upscale hotel. Students concentrating on hospitality/lodging, culinary arts, catering & event planning and baking/pastry arts will have the opportunity to intern as cooks, servers and reception desk operators and may receive 3-6 college credits towards their degree/certificate.

The college and the hotel will sponsor selected students’ airfare, hotel accommodation, meals and travel insurance. A typical intern would be an exemplary student who is academically successful, motivated and responsible.
