To learn more about how to engage students for active and collaborative learning register for a 2-day Summer Institute.

Major topics addressed at the Summer Institute include:

  2. Classroom Assessment Techniques (CATs)
  3. Culturally Competent Practices
  4. Gamification and Simulations
  5. High Impact Practices (HIPs)
  6. Open Educational Resources (OER)
  7. Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SOTL) projects
  8. Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Expectations for participants are to:

  1. Participate in 2-day training sessions
  2. Develop a class activity for your 2017-2018 course
  3. Present your work at the CITL Showcase or Summer Institute 2018

  • Summer Institute – May 15-16, 2017
