The Center provides professional services to help faculty select instructional tools for developing instructional materials and design online, hybrid and in-person courses.

There are many options available to redesign the courses including short workshops, year long effective teaching practice program, one-on-one assistance and self-paced Magna learning tutorials. An instructional designer is available for consultation on implementing best practices in the instructional uses of technology and research-based teaching practices.

Workshops

Faculty and staff are encouraged to attend CITL workshops offered every semester. Registration is required for each workshop. Some workshops may have prerequisite requirements. Register online for any CITL workshop by viewing the schedule and completing the registration form. To better understand your need we suggest that you submit a workshop suggestion form or a custom workshop request form for your discipline or a group of your colleagues. If you are interested in offering a workshop email us at [email protected]

Policies for Workshop Presenters: Cancellation by Presenter: Please let us know as soon as possible or at least 2 days ahead of time so that we can find a replacement or cancel the workshop. If you need copies of your handout, kindly submit them to [email protected] one week in advance to allow for processing in the Copy Center. Without advance notice, please provide handouts. In case you are presenting an online event turn on the WebEx assistant to enable AI assisted closed captioning and set up auto transcribe.
