Bergen representatives will assist prospective students and their parents learn about the state’s largest community college.

PARAMUS, N.J. – In November and December, Bergen Community College will host free open houses for prospective students at two of its locations – Paramus (main campus) and Lyndhurst (Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands) – to explore the College’s offerings. More students graduate with associate degrees from Bergen than any other New Jersey college.

The first open house will take place Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Meadowlands location, 1280 Wall Street West. The main campus open house will take place Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Moses Family Meeting and Training Center (room TEC 128) at the flagship location, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus.

Both open houses will provide students and their parents with the opportunity to discuss Bergen’s more than 140 degree and certificate programs, flexible schedules, financial aid options and transfer opportunities with school representatives.

Bergen, the region’s leader in healthcare education, will soon open the Health Professions Integrated Teaching Center and recently received a $15 million federal grant to lead a consortium of partners to educate, train and place approximately 2,000 students in healthcare jobs.

Additionally, the National College Learning Center Association recently ranked Bergen’s tutoring center as the best in the U.S. – the first time a New Jersey college or university has secured the honor.
