On January 15th, 2022, Middlesex wrestled at Bergen. Bulldogs lost 18 to 24 to the Colts. The match began with the 125lbs, Bergen’s Jineer Contreras defeated by Middlesex’s Zain Ahmad by fall. At 133lbs. match, Bergen’s Ryu Katayama received a forfeit. There was a double forfeit at 141. At 149lbs, Bergen’s Mason Digiacopo lost to Middlesex’s Troy O’Conner by fall. At 157lbs, Bergen’s Cole Pfeufer won by fall against Middlesex’s George Kirvalidze. Midway through at 165lbs, Bergen’s Ty Pfeufer won by forfeit. At 174lbs match, there was a double forfeit. At 184lbs and 197lbs matches, Bergen did not weigh in anyone giving Middlesex the win in those weight categories.
The Bulldogs will now travel to Gloucester County to wrestle a tri-match versus the Roadrunners and the Skylanders on Friday, January 21st at 6pm.

Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 13,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst.
