Program Eligibility Criteria
To receive Center for Adult Transition services, students must:
- Be between the ages of 18–24 and have a well-documented intellectual or developmental disability;
- Display the inner motivation to attend the Center for Adult Transition program and be a part of Bergen Community College’s thriving campus community;
- Display the social, emotional, and behavioral skills needed to appropriately participate in the program to which they are applying;
- Be open to accepting and applying feedback in order to improve their performance;
- Have the potential to attain personal, postsecondary education, and employment goals within the Center for Adult Transition program’s context and framework.
