LGBTQ Issues Now

This discussion will address marriage equality, hate crime laws, and laws against discrimination in jobs and housing. Things have improved for the LGBTQ community, but what are the issues now? Join five Bergen students and former students in a discussion about the struggles we all still share — and what we can do to address them. Discussion moderated by Professor Pamela Haji. Panelists include BCC alumna Jessi Melendez; Jessica Abrams; Bergen Pride President Ashley Perez; BCC Adjunct Professor and longtime Pride member, DJ Scheib; and BCC student Amanda Kulesza.
