The CDC’s play-based curriculum offers developmentally appropriate, hands-on, interesting, and fun learning experiences. We believe that children are capable and curious, and with gentle guidance, that they can construct knowledge in ways that are meaningful to them. By providing our students with opportunities for hands-on and engaging experiences children will build confidence, a love of learning, and make sense of the world around them. We provide a safe, nurturing environment and embrace every child as unique and valued. Our main objective is to help your child develop their social, cognitive, emotional and creative skills as they develop towards their full individual potential.
An equally important part of our focus here at the CDC is the development of trusting and meaningful partnerships with the families we serve. We strive to provide open and honest communication in an effort to include families in their child’s education. We aim to provide a genuine sense of community based on inclusion and acceptance. We embrace all diversity and seek a deeper understanding of each of our families and their individual strengths.
