Making Tutoring Appointments via TutorTrac

BCC students can make one-on-one appointments for tutoring by directly accessing our scheduling system, TutorTrac, via the Bergen Portal.

Making a Tutoring Appointment

  • Go to the Bergen Portal (my.bergen.edu)
  • Click on “Cerullo Learning Assistance Center.” to launch TutorTrac.
  • On the left, click “Search Availability.”
  • Select “Tutoring Center” for Paramus or “Meadowlands” for Lyndhurst.
  • Consultant – leave blank unless you want to search for a specific tutor
  • Section – choose which course or subject you need assistance in
  • You may specify a date and time range if you wish, but it is not required.
  • Click “Search”
  • Determine an available time that works with your schedule and click on the green time slot for that time
  • For Reason, select “1 on 1 Appointment”
  • Click “Save”
  • An automatic email will be sent to your BCC email confirming the appointment.

Cancelling an Appointment

To cancel an appointment online, you must do so 24 hours in advance. If you need to cancel an appointment less than 24 hours in advance, please contact the Tutoring Center (contact information is provided below).

Please note:

  • Go to the Bergen Portal (my.bergen.edu)
  • Click on “Cerullo Learning Assistance Center.” to launch TutorTrac.
  • On your TutorTrac landing page, you will see your upcoming appointments.
  • To cancel an appointment, click the red “X” next to the appointment you wish to cancel.
  • An automatic email will be sent to your BCC email confirming the cancellation.

Please note: Prior to scheduling appointments online, you must complete a Student Agreement at one of the CLAC locations. If you have not, you will receive a pop-up stating you are “Inactive.”
