“A Century of Black History Commemorations” – Black History Month Opening Ceremony

“A Century of Black History Commemorations” honors 100 years since the first observance founded by Dr. Carter G. Woodson in 1926. Guest Speaker Rev. Dr. Lester W. Taylor, Jr. reflects on the legacy of those who paved the way for historical recognition and highlights the ongoing importance of preserving and sharing African American stories.
The ceremony will begin in the Student Center.
