Three love stories, a murder mystery, and a nuclear espionage plot converge in the Bergenstages production of “Red Herring.”

“Red Herring” goes back to 1952, following a senator’s daughter who gets engaged to a spy. At the same time, a Boston detective must solve a murder, or lose out on a honeymoon in Havana.
