Day of Silence is a student-led national event where individuals take a vow of silence to highlight the silencing effects of discrimination and harassment against LGBTQ+ young people at school. This year as we support our own LGBTQ+ community, the Office of Multicultural Services & Activities & our Meadowlands campus along with Black Male Alliance, Caribbean Club, Sociedad de Lideres (S.O.L.) and D.I.V.A. Girl Empowerment Club will break our silence at our Cultural of Excellence Ball in Lyndhurst at our Meadowlands Campus.
