The Child Development Center is observing Heart Health Month by holding their 1st Annual Walk-a-Thon! CDC students will be challenged to get their hearts pumping for a good cause, all while having some fun!  On Friday, February 24 starting at 10:00 a.m., each class will be asked to walk as many laps as they can around the playground perimeter. Families and members of the college community are invited to pledge donations with all proceeds being donated to The American Heart Association. If you wish to pledge a donation, please indicate for which classroom (Ms. Shylah’s class, Ms. T’s class, or Mr. Jack’s class), and how much money per lap, or a set amount. To submit donations, please reach out to the Center Director, Jessica Blundo, at [email protected] or call (201) 447-7165.  All donations must be made in cash. Anyone making a donation is welcome to come cheer the students on as they exercise for charity! Rain date is TBD.
