Join us for a discussion about the historical and scientific ramifications of the so-called “Radium Girls,” the women who worked in the U.S. Radium dial-painting factory in the 1920s. Many of the women died as a result of their work. The play Radium Girls will be performed on campus at the end of the month. Featured panelists are Dr. Christine Eubank (History), Prof. Jaqueline Dartley (Biology), and Dr. Leigh Jonaitis (Theatre), as well as student actors from the play.
