End your Summer on a high note with free live, outdoor music at Overpeck County Park Amphitheater on Sunday, September 12^th, as the Bergen Community College music program sponsors the inaugural Bergenstock Music Festival, a celebration of musicians and songwriters from Bergen County and the surrounding area.

 

Musical acts spanning a diverse array of genres including pop, rock, R&B, soul, jazz and blues will perform between 1 and 6:30 p.m.  The lineup features current Bergen students Ginny Lackey and Daniel Tineo performing together, as well as Michael Febles with his band Hidden Figures.  Singer/songwriters Melissa Cherie and Amanda Brite, both graduates of Bergen’s music program as well as the Popular Music program at William Paterson University, will also perform, as will BCC music faculty Andy Krikun and Dan Sheehan.  Representing the greater Bergen County community will be singer/songwriters Esti Mellul of Teaneck and Maurice Cobb of Fort Lee.

 

The family friendly event will feature acts performing mostly in a stripped down, acoustic “unplugged” format.  So grab some lawn chairs or blankets, put on your Birckenstocks and head over to Bergenstock!

5:40-6:20    Hidden Figures (unplugged singer/songwriter rock)

 

In the event of rain, the event will be rescheduled to Saturday, September 25^th at 4PM.
