Part One: Family and Mental Health – When Mental Illness Occurs in the Family

Presented by: Kim Meekins, MSW, and Dr. Tonia McKoy, ED.D, Bergen Community College

This session discusses mental health, how it affects family dynamics, and the breakdown of the family. The workshop will help empower you to dispel the stigma associated with asking for help and to raise awareness to create and establish open lines to discuss the need to seek treatment for mental health illness. Presentation followed by Q&A.
