Que Comience La Fiesta! Bergen kicks off its Traditional Flag Parade Celebration with music by the Orchestra “La Caribena.”

Keynote speaker Dr. Vanessa Gonzalez-Perez, Associate Vice Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, at the University of Pennsylvania will share her story and insights in an effort to define the meaning of belonging.

Pennsylvania’s Professor of the Year, Dr. Javier Avila, will present his acclaimed one-man show blending comedy and poetry into a culturally rich performance about the value of diversity to shed light on language, race, and equity. Reservations will be required at tickets.bergen.edu.
