Bergen Community College’s Access to Construction Trades (ACT) for Women and Minorities Project provides opportunities for women and minorities to acquire skills, increase employment opportunities and benefit economically from construction/infrastructure projects within New Jersey. Supported by the New Jersey Builders Utilization Initiative for Labor Diversity (NJ BUILDERS) program, ACT assists businesses in meeting their workforce needs through the recruiting and training of women and minority populations as construction managers, estimators and other occupations related to the region’s construction trades.

For more information on the project and other opportunities for students and businesses, please contact Bergen’s Continuing Education and Workforce Development Office at (201) 447-7488 or email [email protected],
