PARAMUS, N.J. – British-born singer-songwriter Barb Jungr will play Bergen Community College’s Anna Maria Ciccone Theatre Thursday, Nov. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Jungr, known for her interpretations of music from rock-and-roll royalty Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen, creates covers markedly different than simple parroting. Her performance, “Hard Rain” will blend the artists’ work with Jungr’s own style, setting the stage for a memorable evening.
Tickets are $15 and are available at tickets.bergen.edu or by calling (201) 447-7428. The “Curtain Up!” series takes place in the Ciccone Theatre, located at the College’s main campus, 400 Paramus Road.
Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls 16,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
