PARAMUS, N.J. – As part of its 53rd season, the Bergenstages student theatre troupe will present a series of performances that encourage audiences to “discover all things possible.”
“Our 2026-2027 season brings together productions that are about discovery – discovering a plot twist, discovering love right under your nose, discovering the meaning of life and discovering the mysteries of the mind,” Bergenstages director and theatre professor Jim Bumgardner said. “Audiences will enjoy making these discoveries along with the characters in each of our three plays and a musical; through laughter, tears and joy, the unexpected will be found.”

This innovative play follows Christopher, a teenage boy with a unique way of seeing the world, as he sets out to solve the mystery of a neighbor’s dead dog.
Based in Paramus, Bergen Community College (www.bergen.edu), a public two-year coeducational college, enrolls more than 24,000 students at locations in Paramus, the Philip Ciarco Jr. Learning Center in Hackensack and Bergen Community College at the Meadowlands in Lyndhurst. The College offers associate degree, certificate and continuing education programs in a variety of fields. More students graduate from Bergen than any other community college in the state.
