Dr. Fischer, “Doc”, has taught Horticulture at BCC since 1978. He coordinates all aspects of the program and is its “heart and soul”. Dr. Fischer teaches Fundamentals of Horticulture, Plants and Materials I and II, Floral Design, Principles of Landscaping, Horticulture Co-op, People/Plant Relationships, General Botany and many other courses in the department. He is also a member of the BCC Horticulture Advisory Committee. He is advisor to the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Landscape Contractors Association (NJLCA).
