Kil J. Yi is professor of history and geography. He teaches Western Civilization, American History and World Geography. He received B.S. and M.A. degrees from the State University of New York at Albany, and Ph.D. degree from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. His research interests include history of the United States – Asian relations and history of nation building in Asia after World War II. He is currently working on a book dealing with the alliance between the United States and South Korea in the Vietnam War. His works are published in such scholarly journals as the Pacific Historical Review.
