Claire McConaughy has taught web development, graphic design and drawing at Bergen since 2006. She has also worked in the graphic design field for over 20 years. Her experience includes print, packaging, annual reports, corporate branding, and web design. She has worked as an independent designer, with NYC design firms and for corporations. While involved with design she has concurrently pursued a fine art career in painting. She has exhibited at the Drawing Center, Art Resources Transfer, Schroeder Romero Gallery, Jay Grimm Gallery, Real Art Ways and most recently Allen Projects. She has had several solo exhibitions including the Carol Schlossberg Gallery at Montserrat College of Art where she was artist in residence, the Deutsche Bank Gallery and her work has been represented at the Scope Art Fairs. She has received residencies from the Santa Fe Art Institute, the Ucross Foundation and the Roswell Artist in Residence Program. She was also a finalist for the Mid-Atlantic/NEA Regional Visual Arts Fellowship.
